How’s the weather?!? We knew we were taking a risk having our Annual Show so late in the year in December, but we considered the risk of a heat wave, and having to postpone due to our Hot Weather Policy; not be threatened by rain. On the weekend of January 7th and 8th, Samantha and Sandra Taylor travelled to Milawa in Victoria, near Wangaratta, to hold a side saddle clinic.

The clinic went really well, we had a fantastic turn out with a number of new side saddle riders, which we were able to find a saddle to fit all horses.

A big thank you to Sharron Taylor for all her help organnising the clinic,venuese etc.

On Sunday November 27th we held our Annual Side Saddle Show at the Lobethal Recreation Grounds in conjunction with the Dressage Club of SA Club Day, which turned out to be a great day for all. Leanne Donohue was a wonderful and fair judge, and the grounds and setup were super. Thankyou very much to everyone who helped make it such a great day!

This year's Adelaide Royal Show went well, it was great to see that we had more entrants than last year, however it would still be great to see even more entrants.

Judging was interesting this year with a non-side saddle riding judge. We do however plan to put together a set of criiteria/ hot tips which will be sent to the Royal Agricuktural Society to assist non-side saddle riding judges in future.
